I'm learning there is always 2 ways of looking at something. This morning my sign read "If its not love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, or gentleness + self control its not God. God is Love" While at MacDonald's, in Crossville TN., Someone thought it necessary to rip off my light and tear down my sign off the bike. It saddens me that someone would do this, yet I'm fortunate that's all that happened. All my worldly belongings are on the bike, they could have flattened the tires or done any kind of damage, so I am grateful that God was watching over the bike. It almost appeared some one or some thing intervened during the process. It appears even in small towns I need to watch the bike closer.
I sense the battle going on here is very strong. I went to a church for prayer meeting last night and only 1 person showed. She suggested I go up the road to the next church. I did so, and was pleased to arrive just a few minutes late. I didn't notice the sign saying kjv only. I was really uncomfortable with the lack of interest or love shown. I really believe we need to stop majoring on the minors and start walking and acting like Christ with love. I left and went back to the 1st church to sleep, and just as I was going to sleep a dog started barking, it would not stop, eventually I had to move. I really think that dog had something in it. I don't know if the spiritual condition of this town is any different than any other but I do feel strong negative forces at work here. Please pray for the believers here, as I am right now, its hard to live where there is little love. I very much believe we need to by pass leadings that are contrary to the fruit of the spirit and reflect God's love as often as we feel lead, remember faith in God is an individual choice, yes belong to a body but be loyal to the King. God help us all. Daniel

Hello Dan! It was very nice to meet you today (you stopped by my yard sale in Crossville). I hope the rest of your trip in our town was better for you. I cannot apologise for others actions( in the town I call home), but will say that your presence was a blessing to me! I enjoyed the time we spent talking and believe in what you are doing.
Hope you are having a good day and will check in again.
Jamie
I'm sorry you had the bad fortune to stop in Crossville. It is a town full of hate, racism and bigotry. I grew up there but have since moved on, thank the lord. There are very few people there with peace in their hearts, mainly just power on their minds. I hope the rest of your ride goes smoothly and peacefully.
Sorry I didn't get to meet you...You would have been loved and welcome at our church (Crab Orchard)
...please come back sometime, and pray for our town too, as we will pray you safely on to your destination.
