Day 66 (2400)

I'm currently in Waynesboro TN. I've been traveling on route 64. For the most part its had a good shoulder on the side of the road for bikes. The whole state of Tennessee has been bicycle friendly. Saturday night after praying for God's direction as where to find a place to sleep, I was lead to a small baptist church outside of Fayetteville. A man was outside the building cutting the grass, preparing for Sunday worship. We shared some of our mutual concerns for the body of Christ and for America, he invited me to his home and his wife fixed a great dinner, and washed my clothes. They let me shower, and they let me sleep in their guest bed room. Its difficult to show this kind of trust and love in today's world, they have strong faith. This couple shared with me stories of their many ministry trips, and Hope they donated the building for the church. I left after attending Sunday school and church. Their pastor encouraged me to attend a demonstration for a cause in which in feels strongly lead. I thank God for men and women, because their love for God and their neighbors, they feel they must warn them about sin. My ministry is the bicycle sign. I love organizations that not just point a finger, but offer a huge helping hand to lead people to the heart and life changing blood of the Lamb. Many people feel God could not lead me to ride down the road with a bible verse on my back but I do, so I certainly don't ever want to discourage anyone who is lead by the loving heavenly father from serving him. Last night I was able to hear a message about sin lead by a very nice young pastor. The church allowed me to stay in their youth facility. A christian man brought me food and fresh clothing this morning. He shared with me his walk of faith and encouraged me in love. Where ever we are in life, we all face many challenges, I thank God for unconditional love. I don't have to be perfect, just accept his unconditional gift of love. Today's verse "But God commendeth his love towards us, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Rom. 5: 8. I did put the nrsv version of that. Thank you God for all you do. Have a great day everyone. Love Daniel

Glad to hear that things are going good for you on your journey.

Nothing you do will ever go un noticed! I enjoy hearing what you are experience along the way.
An old hymn of the church reads:

O God, our help in ages past;
our hope for years to come;
our shelter from the stormy blast;
and our eternal home.
Just reminds me that God is the God of past, present and future!

Love in Christ,
Jamie
