38 States, 19 bikes, 6000 miles

Greetings from Wisconson. I crossed the Mississippi about 20 minutes ago. Its been cool and rainy around here. My bike is down to 1 gear and the chain keeps locking up. Over night the cold rain has caused the hard woods to start changing color. Yesterday I stayed in the tent and prayed and read all day. I read the last half of Mathiew. The roads are hilly and narrow, I'm happy traffic has been light. I didn't imagine this part of the country being this beautiful, but it is. The hills seem as high as mountains and the valleys are deep and the roads curve thru them.On a more serious side, a few people have suggested it might be time for me to go back home. Although the thought of maybe sleeping in doors for a while is apealing, I just wonder if it's time to go back yet. When Saul was trying to kill David, David didn't hang around town, he waited for God to work. I honestly feel this is why I'm on the road. I see many changes going on, I know all things work for the good". Maybe if enough rich lawyers feel the pressure of this ecconomy, they might trickle down some grace and compasion. Maybe not, thats in God's hands. Pray for my direction, Daniel
